| Description: | Sima with vertical face decorated in relief with pairs of spirals on either side of lion-head spout. Spirals are linked; those to rt. of spout curl counter clockwise, the single spiral preserved to lt. of spout curls clockwise; solid eyes; separting spirals of each pair are two 3-petalled buds, one projecting up, other pendant. Above, fillet and ovolo, H00.041, projection 00.020, decorated in relief with egg-dart; above narrow fascia or fillet H00.009. Top flat, W00.060. Rt. joint smooth, with pan tile set in slightly. Outline of spout between spirals. | |
