Description: | Lionhead spout, broken at juncture to sima plaque; top of head low with three rows of small mane locks on proper lt. side of head, four rows to right, locks scored; forehead has broad concave furrow down center and hollows above either brow; brow ridge plastic, shallowset eye just below brow with deeply incised ring outlining eye, outline around pupil. | |
Decoration: | Red-brown paint over mane, on eyebrows, circling eyes, and on pupil. | |
Material: | Fine light red clay with rare small white and fine black inclusions. | |
