Decoration: | Soffit: astragalos in light on black ground. Cyma: 11-petal palmette with round drooping tips, outlined in slightly dilute glaze, against black background; Diamond-shaped heart with concave sides, red center. FLower with notched upturned petals, painted red along upper half. Same as FS-XXXX-40. | |
Material: | Coarse clay fired pink to buff with buff slip, with many coarse (to 6mm.) black, red inclusions. | |
