Description:   Sima, from flank (?) with tall fascia at bottom, set back 00.006 to base of next moulding. At lt. break beginning of a surface projecting from front of fascia, and at back of face of sima, similar turning in, from lion-head spout ? Rt. join shows anathyrosis. Associated with FS-XXXX-5.
Decoration:   Soffit: decorative border 00.06 m. wide: bead-reel with oval bead, 2 angular reels, reserved on black background. Broad stripe in dilute glaze. Fascia: maeander type IIA, black on reserved ground. Note: I.T. Hill associates FS-XXXX-5 with FS-XXXX-6; both soffit and fascia differ from FS-XXXX-5A.
Material:   Buff-yellow coarse clay with dense admixture of fine to coarse (to 4mm) black mudstone inclusions, buff slip.
Munsell Color:   Slip slightly yellower than 5Y 7/3.
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving bottom of tile, base moulding, right joint. Broken back, left and top, nearly half of front face missing.
