Description:   Enormous sima having flattened cyma reversa profile, above which outset fillet, flattened ovolo (?), and narrow fascia. Lt. joint flat with slight anathyrosis.
Decoration:   Faint remains of light-on-dark decoration with palmette flower below which bud rising from tendril. Cf. FS-XXXX-49, -50 for type. On crowning moulding poss. lesbian leaf.
Writing:   inscribed. Letter inscribed on top surface, poss. before firing - channels deep and fairly smooth: B beta
Material:   Coarse light pinkish-buff clay with dense admixture of fine to coarse mudstone inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Surface ca. 7.5YR 7/5
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving upper two-thirds of sima face, to top, left joint; broken at right, below and back. Surface decoration largely worn away.
