Description:   Eaves tile.
Decoration:   Decorated in ligh-on-dark style: soffit, lotus-palmette chain, p. W. 0.079, composed of eleven-petal palmettes and five-leaf lotus; face, swastika meander and checkerboard. Red paint on the palmette heart, along the edge of the calyx, and outlining the checkerboard. Cf. FT-207 (Corinth XVIII.3, p. 468, no. 74).
Material:   Coarse pale yellow clay with common large to very large mudstone inclusions and voids.
Munsell Color:   2.5Y 8/2 (pale yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt preserves small part of three sides of tile, broken on rest, paint on two sides.
