Description:   Rectangular thick slab, cut from an earlier block or slab, back of which worked with claw chisel, top, where original preserved, worked smooth. Front of top and remaining edges irregularly broken but possibly are "finished" for reuse as grave inscription. Round pin hole in top edge set in 00.105 from lt. edge, 0.028 from back, D00.002.
Writing:   inscribed. Greek inscription on face, three lines, letters carved in champleve, i.e., background cut back leaving letters in relief, letter H00.03-00.055: Cross (w. rho) MNHMION IWANNOY KRAMBITA Cross
Material:   Fine gray marble or possibly Acrocorinth limestone.
Condition:   Complete or intact. Complete, although only part of upper edge finished; remaining edges uneven; part of surface broken away at lower lt. corner.
