Description:   Oriented with inscription as front face: tall rectangular block with mouldings at bottom and top on front and lt. side. Bottom: fascia H00.05, cyma reversa H00.078; front and lt. side worked with fine claw, rt. side smooth where original surface recut. Top: traces of point, roughly smoothed; 2 rectangular dowels: 1) 00.031 x 00.015, in 00.14 from front, 00.095 from rt. edge; 2) 00.032 x 00.026, 00.23 from front, 00.13 from rt. edge.
Writing:   inscribed. Inscribed in latin on one face Letter H00.03-00.042. First line set in 00.03 from lt. edge; recutting removed rt. edge:L.PAPIO.L.F.FAL.LVPERCOAED.ET.IIVIR.ETAGONOTHETIC.ETQUINQ.ORNAMENORNATO.D.DPAPIA.L.F.DONATI.VXOMETHE.AVIA
Material:   Fine white marble.
Condition:   Complete profile. Complete profile, bottom, top, front and two sides preserved, broken in back; top moulding broken away, bottom one broken across front, part of lt. side; large break along lt. edge of top.
