Description:   Rectangular block, reused at least twice; smooth vertical faces except for lt. side, which worked with claw, poss. in reuse; block reused as threshold; cutting in lt. side of front face W00.08, Depth 00.062. Present top preserves two dowel holes: lt. at lt. edge, 2nd set 00.132 m. from it and 00.17 m. from rt. edge; D00.04, Depth 00.027. Top worked with anathyrosis.and recut; top probably recut late, rouchly picked with square dowel hole.
Writing:   inscribed. Greek inscription, largely erased, above l. 5 of Latin text: ]LIQENIH[; Latin text over this: ]O.P.F.]IRMOSTANO.AED.ORNAM.RNATO.D.D.]ICIVS.ATIMETV[INIANVS.PATER.]ICIVS.ATIMETVS.ET.]NIA.GAIENE.AVICrude Byzantine graffito on rt. side.
Material:   Fine white marble.
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., missing bottom and original top; preserving four sides.
