Description:   Thick slab, carved on front face as follows: an architectural frame with Ionic pilasters, fluted on upper 2/3 of shaft, 3-stepped architrave, frieze, dentils. Within frame a woman reclines to rt. on couch, torso 3/4 lt., face frontal. Wears hair in a bun on top of head, clinging garment, over which a himation; couch has two raised ends and back. Her sandals rest on small stool before couch. In front, a second draped figure sits on a low stool with feet on a footstool, in front of a low 3-legged table on which two bowls and a small pitcher. To lower rt. a crouching dog. Above, a suspended simplied swag from which hangs a wreath.
Writing:   inscribed. Inscribed below entablature with two lines of Greek: Apollonia / Eouporia
Material:   Dense gray-white marble.
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., complete except for two left corners; chips in right edge.
