Description:   Archaic poros doric capital with 16-fluted shaft, two annuli at base of wide flaring echinus with straight profile and rounded pillow. In undersurface dowel hole 0.04 square, 0.06 deep.
Decoration:   Thin layer of white stucco.
Material:   Poros limestone.
Condition:   Complete or intact. Capital complete, except for plow marks.
Dimensions Actual:   H. 0.28, H. 0.10 (abacus), H. 0.115 (echinus), W. 0.63 (abacus), Diam. 0.335 (shaft)
Period:   Archaic (7th-6th c.)
Provenance:   Corinth.
Findspot Description:   KA-1 from Potters' Quarter. Built into the east wall of North Room of Terracotta Factory, Potters' Quarter.
