Description:   Miniature lamp with disc foot, echinoid body, and inturned rim with rounded lip. Long nozzel with squared end, hole sightly off center. Horizontal strap handle originally attached at widest part of body, opposite nozzle. Similar to other lamps from the same deposit, KL 168-176.
Decoration:   String marks on base. Black glaze over all.
Material:   Very fine pale brown clay with rare very fine inclusions and rare voids
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Missing parts. Complete, except for missing handle. Glaze has some flaking.

Findspot Description:   Potters' Quarter. Terracotta Factory, East Room, Deposit 6. (N.B. Benson confused Deposits 5 and 6 in Corinth 15.3, but the notebooks and Corinth 15.1 make it clear that this is Deposit 6)
