Description:   Lamp with flaring ring foot, slanting resting surface, flat undersurface, globular body that projects well beyond foot, narrow flat rim, raised above body and set on line of foot, large fill hole; large nozzle and wick hole that just impinges on rim. Horizontal strap handle, set vertically on upper body opposite nozzle. PQ type IB3.
Decoration:   Front half of lamp black glazed, and all of interior.
Material:   Fine buff clay, with 2-3% fine voids, rare thin elongated voids.
Munsell Color:   Slightly redder than 10YR 7.5/3
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., preserving complete profile except for very center of floor; preserving right half of lamp, with half of nozzle, and one stump of handle. Burning on nozzle.
