Description:   Lamp with flat bottom, slight thickening of floor may suggest central cone or socket, bottom curving up into vertical body with convex profile, broad horizontal rim, slightly concave with ridge surrounding moderate fill hole; base of nozzle. Howland N143, type 19 variant.
Decoration:   Bottom, body reserved, broad black stripe at shoulder, rim reserved with red circumference stripe in center, another on lip; black glaze on nozzle. Interior black-glazed.
Material:   Fine light red clay with 2% fine voids, black and sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 6/6
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., preserving complete profile except center of bottom; right half of lamp with start of nozzle; glaze chipped.
