Description:   Lamp with flat base, ovoid body, curving in to outward thickened flat narrow rim. Base of nozzle and wick hole. Scar of probable horizontal lug handle opposite nozzle. Carelessly finished, adhering pellets of clay. P.Q. type IB1.
Decoration:   Dull red glaze over all, fired to black in places.
Material:   Fine light brown clay, with at least one coarse lime inclusion.
Munsell Color:   Grayer than 10YR 7/3 to 7.5YR 7/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., complete profile except for 1/5 body and rim, all of nozzle; handle. Glaze worn. Burning on nozzle base, rim.
