Description:   Lamp with flat bottom, shallow globular body, narrow flat rim only slightly thicker than thickness of body, very large fill hole; start of nozzle that ends below rim. Similar to KL-192 (Sillwell 1952, Corinth 15.2, cat. 5, p. 255) and KL-200.
Decoration:   Completely glazed, glaze unevenly fired red to black. Incised on bottom after firing: griffin with sickle wing, pointed ear, round stemmed projection on head, facing right.
Mythology:   Griffin
Material:   Fine pale pinkish buff clay.
Munsell Color:   Slightly yellower than 7.5YR 7/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Four joining frgts., preserving complete profile; ca. 1/3 floor to rim, lt. side; edge of nozzle.
