Description:   Strongly convex sides, reflex handles.
Decoration:   Corinthian black-figure style. Painted line just below lip; Z-meander at rim; frieze bordered by double band above and below; short rays at bottom. Horizontal glazed line on handles. Undersurfaced reserved with a shallow groove near adge. Animal frieze: panther to r., goat to l., lion to r., bull to l., swan to r. (under one handle). Filling ornaments: spoked rosettes, irregular rosettes with crosses or double line crossed by a line, spots. Added purple paint: neck, alternated ribs, belly, haunch of bull; central wing of swan. Careful and neat drawing.
Material:   Hard fired buff clay. Good black paint and applied purple paint.
Munsell Color:   from 10 YR 8/3 to 10 YR 7/4 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Missing few small fragments from sides and bottom (restored)
