Description:   Kantharos, shallow cup with vertical handles. Broad shallow shape with break in profile at base of handles. Flaring ring foot with flat recessed undersurface. Thick flat loop handles. KP-1920 from deposit similar in shape but not exact, cf. C-1964-152.
Decoration:   Conventionalizing style. Black and red paint. Red line along exterior of rim, alternating vertical herringbone ("ladder") pattern and blank areas above one black and one red circum. Bands on exterior. Outer edge of foot red with black line at upper edge. Black vertical zigzag on handles between lines, one line red, others black; base of handle black. Two black bands in cup interior.
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 8/4 (pale brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Twelve joining frgts., preserving complete profile; missing 2 frgts. Pigments faded.
