Description:   Rather broad kotyle with slightly incurving rim.
Decoration:   Black figure style. Horizontal line at rim, vertical wavy lines below. Animal frieze bounded above by purple band and black band: wing of sphinx, l., and another wing of sphinx, r. (a); forepart of siren with reverted head, r., forepart of sphinx, l. Interior painted solid except for a reserved band at lip. Filling ornaments: lotiform rosette. Applied purple on faces and necks of siren and sphinx, on wing caps.
Material:   Hard fired buff clay. Black paint, fired partly red on interior, applied purple paint.
Munsell Color:   10 YR 7/4 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Two fragments. Preserved fragment of rim with handle (a) and part of upper-body (b).
