Description:   Cup with hollow, conical stem with flaring foot joining body with compound curve on exterior and small conical depression in interior, body lopsided; flaring rim with squared lip; two vertical strap handles attached at lip and at midpoint of body. Possibly bottom of standed thymiaterion (L. Talcott, quoted in Stillwell and Benson 1984, Corinth 15.3, p. 350). Similar to eschara, Agora XII, pl. 98: 2039 (Stillwell and Benson, p. 350).
Decoration:   Irregularly molded band at base of bowl, plain slip.
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay with rare medium subrounded inclusions and rare small voids
Munsell Color:   10 YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Twelve joining pieces, nearly complete, missing part of one handle and small part of foot.
