Description:   Kotyle with very low, small vertical ring foot. Narrow resting surface. Ovoid body. In body of vase ca. 0.023 from rim--small, clean hole punched through. Paint chipped around inside and out so it appears that hole was punched when vase was already glazed
Decoration:   Completely covered in very dark glaze, quite dilute in places; fired dark brown; added white horizontal band below handles.
Material:   Very pale brown clay.
Munsell Color:   10 YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Mended from frgts., and single loose frgt., likely non-joining, preserving one handle root and less than half of rim; RIP.
