Decoration: | Corinthian black-figure style. Knob with linear decoration. On lid: concentric glazed band around knob, concentric band of short rays; animal frieze bordered by two concentric lines. Animal frieze: goat to l., panther to l., panther to r., goat to r., panther to l. Filling ornaments: spoked rosettes, small rosettes with incised crosses, spots and irregular rosettes with parallel or ogival double lines. Undersurface reserved. | |
