Description:   Miniature kotyle with flat base, low flaring body, rounded lip; Two horizontal, round handles attached at lip.
Decoration:   String marks on base. Black glaze over underside, black vertical bars in handle zone, handles and interior black (all misfired red).
Material:   Very fine light pinkish yellow clay with rare very fine inclusions and rare voids
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 8/4 (pink)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Complete. Glaze flaking.

Period:   4th c. B.C.
Chronology:   4th century B.C., probably second half (Risser 2001, Corinth 7.5, p.70)
Provenance:   Corinth
Findspot Description:   Potters' Quarter. Terracotta Factory, East Room, Deposit 6. (N.B. Benson confused Deposits 5 and 6 in Corinth 15.3, but the notebooks and Corinth 15.1 make it clear that this is Deposit 6).
