Description:   Miniature kalathos with flat base, vertical walls, and flaring horizontal rim with rounded lip. Attachment points for strap handle.
Decoration:   String marks on base. Red stripe at base, two black stripes above; black stripe on top of rim near handle attachment, red stripe and row of black dots on top of rim at lip.
Material:   Very fine pale brown clay with rare very fine inclusions and rare voids
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Missing parts. Complete except for handle and large chip in rim. Glaze flaking.

Period:   4th c. B.C.
Chronology:   Middle or 3rd quarter of the 4th c. B.C. (Stillwell 1948, Corinth 15.1, p. 43)

Findspot Description:   Potters' Quarter. Terracotta Factory, East Room, Deposit 6. (N.B. Benson confused Deposits 5 and 6 in Corinth 15.3, but the notebooks and Corinth 15.1 make it clear that this is Deposit 6.--K. Harrington, 30/6/2021)
