Description:   Lamp with flat base, nearly globular body with max. diam. somewhat below median, curving in to narrow rim, slightly concave in section, moderate fill hole; start of nozzle, round in section and tilted upward, edge of large wick hole. Vertical strap handle attached to body opposite nozzle. Note: published by Broneer as type XVI but isn't.
Decoration:   Dull black glaze over all.
Material:   Fine pale pinkish buff clay with fine lime inclusions.
Condition:   Complete profile. Complete except for for half nozzle, handle; glaze worn; also chip in edge of fill hole. Faint discoloration from burning on nozzle.
