Description:   Type XVI lamp, originally part of stand with several lamps: on underside, top of solid stand/attachment with egg-shaped horizontal section, trace of another element (lamp?) adhering to rt. side of body. Lamp: flaring lower body turning up vertically, then tapering to low flaring rim, broad disk, convex-concave, small fill hole; short blunt nozzle with fluked ends, large fill hole. Scars of vertical strap handle attached to just below max. diam. and rim.
Writing:   dipinto. In red on disk: Psi
Material:   Fine pale reddish tan clay with 3-5% lime inclusions, some sparkling, 2% subrounded red inclusions.
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., preserving intact lamp except for handle; part of lower attachment preserved, scar of element to lt. Burning on nozzle.
