Description:   Lamp with low base ring, flat undersurface, deep flaring body, broad low sloping rim, start of oval concave disk; edge of small fill hole off-center at lt. center edge; air hole at edge of disk; nozzle enclosed in body, wick hole at tip. Solid lug handle.
Decoration:   Bottom: plain; rim: herringbone; disk: double leaf at base of handle, 2 V-shaped projects on opposite end; grooves framing nozzle, 4 grooves down back of handle. Unclear whether glazed.
Material:   Moderately fine clay with rare sparkling inclusions, color uncertain, since clay mottled red to gray-brown.
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., complete except for disk, small chip from nozzle. Unclear whether lamp stained black or partly burned.
