Description:   Lamp with flat bottom, deep straight flaring body, broad rim rising slightly to shallow, concave disk set off by 2 circumference grooves, small central fill hole with framing ring. Air hole at edge of disk, with narrow channel towards wick hole, edge of which preserved. Vertical lug handle.
Decoration:   Bottom: ring of small stamped circles with one in center, framed by two grooves; rim: incised branchframed by double circles, placed at 3:00 and 9:00, circles framing handle and nozzle, with double bars beside nozzle. disk plain. Handle: 3 grooves to base. Dull purplish red glaze over all. For rim see Agora VII N974 (1st half 4th)
Material:   Fine hard-fired red-brown clay with scattered tiny white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Slightly grayer than 5YR 6/6
Condition:   Complete profile. Four joining frgts., complete profile; 3/4 bottom, body, nearly all rim except for a few gaps, all disk, most of handle; missing nozzle, handle top.
