Description:   Lamp with flat, almond-shaped bottom, deep flaring convex body, broad flat rim, deep concave disk, surrounded by ring, central fill hole, framed by 3 smaller ones. Small air hole in edge of rim, with V-shaped bars framing base of wick hole and U-shaped nozzle. Pierced vertical lug handle.
Decoration:   Bottom: inscribed leaf with V at base of handle. Rim: herringbone, with dotted circles flanking handle and nozzle. disk plain. Handle: 2 grooves to base.
Material:   Hard-fired red clay with sparkling, tiny white inclusions, voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 5/4
Condition:   Complete or intact. Four joining frgts., complete except for tiny chip in wick hole; considerable burning around nozzle, blackening on left half rim, body.
