Description:   Base with curving side and a molding defined by a groove at the top. Above, the forepart of a lion to the right attacking a bull's head (also to the right). The eyes of both animals are pierced. There is no mold joint preserved but the break suggests it may have been a vertical two-part mold. Cf. Agora VI, p. 81, nos. 1089-1090, pl. 31.
Decoration:   Reddish yellow slip (5YR 5/6) on exterior and along mold join.
Material:   Finely gritty, yellowish red fabric with tiny inclusions and sparse larger rounded clay pellets and gray or black grains.
Munsell Color:   5YR 7/6
Condition:   Fragment. Three joining fragments giving one fifth of animal group. Traces of burning on bull's and lion's muzzles are probably from the wick. Slip worn.
