Decoration: | Black slipped overall exterior and dripping on interior. In relief on handle attachment a slipknot framed by spirals at the bottom and topped by a palmette decorated with rosettes and cables, volutes on nozzle and floral designs on the necks. Identical to CL 176 (Corinth IV.2, p. 167, no. 383, pl. VIII). | |
Material: | Fine gray clay with few medium rounded black, dark brown, white, and frequent medium silver mica inclusions. | |
