Description:   Lamp with shallow concave disk, off-center fill hole between warrior's legs at ca. 5-6:00
Decoration:   Disk: at lt. warrior, fully armed, holding long spear in rt. hand, small round shield in lt., decorated with boss and rays, attaked by large crane at rt. Crane pecks at face and grabs one leg with claws.
Similar to L-271 (Broneer #654), L-1836, L-1849, and L-1850.
Mythology:   Pygmies and cranes
Material:   Fine light tan clay, fired to pale red in places.
Munsell Color:   Between 10YR 6/4 and 7.5YR 6/4
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving center of disk, part of fill hole.
