Description:   Lamp with vertical ring foot with convex profile, not well articulated from body, depressed undersurface. Biconical body with upper half tapering considerably to narrow fill hole, not offset by groove. Unpierced lug to lt. of nozzle. Long narrow nozzle, tilted upward, narrow and flat on top, widening at sides, with long wick hole. Imitation of normal IX lamp, handmade in two parts.
Decoration:   Dull red slip over all.
Material:   Fine light red clay, well compacted with very rare fine lime inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Slightly more yellow than 5YR 6/6
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., complete except for ca. 1/2 upper body and fill hole. Heavy burning on nozzle.
