Description:   Bowl with straight, flaring upper body curving sharply up to straight, flaring rim with rounded lip.
Decoration:   Zeuxippus Ware, class II. Chalky white slip all over. Interior: brown painted double lines on carination, traces of one line preserved below lip. Incised line, brown painted, just below lip. On rim, incised concentric circles decorated with incised double X and four small circles. Smears of brown on rim decoration. Exterior: one shallow groove on carination, two just below lip, brown painted. Pale greenish yellow glaze inside to rim outside, with smudges.

Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt preserves one-seventh of rim and one-twentieth of upper body. Missing lower body and foot. Just below lip inside, thin layer of glaze and slip left by another vase stacked upon in the kiln.
