Description:   Stew-pot with spherical body curving up to thickened, triangular rim, flattened on top. Incised groove around middle of rim on exterior. Vertical strap handle, attaches to upper body. Grooved shoulder. Similar to C-59-164. (Publ. Hesperia 36, 1967, p. 294, n.116, fig. 3).
Material:   Hard, course, red clay. Black 3% (0.5 - 1.5 mm) subrounded, spherical; white 5% (0.5 - 1.5 mm) angular, spherical; light red 3% (0.25 - 1.5 mm) subrounded spherical. Irregularly shaped voids. Granular, conchoidal break.
Munsell Color:   10R 5/6 (red), core 10R 4/1 (dark reddish gray)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts preserve half rim and one quarter of body. One handle preserved.
