Description: | Bowl with flaring ring foot, flat resting surface, bottom rounded, convex body, flaring rim, and squared lip. | |
Decoration: | Pinkish slip and glaze inside and over lip. Incised decoration: pattern of concentric circles and spiraling lines. Five concentric circles at bottom as one continuous line, surrounded by spiraling line. Lines covered with a dark yellow glaze. Concentric circles of one continuous line surround spiraling line, coated with green glaze which has bled. Roughly 0.040m above these circles, just under bend for rim, is another series of three to four lines from one continuous line and covered in green glaze; glaze has bled. Rim interior another band of a spiraling line, coated in yellow glaze which has bled. Just below the lip is final line which doubles itself on half of vessel. Lip and final line coated in green glaze which bled. | |
Material: | Fine light red clay, rare medium rounded spherical white inclusions, few medium to very large angular spherical red inclusions, few medium to very large voids. | |

Condition: | Complete profile. Four fragments of bowl; part of rim and body missing. Glaze chipped all over inside the bowl and along lip. A 0.066-0.080m wide stain remaining from encrustation on outside. | |
