Description:   Terracotta solid handmade dancer from group cmoving in circle with arms joined around central standing flutist. Dancer has wide flat strip of clay applied around front of head as polostilting down to rt, clay overfold from back to front as head, triangular face, broad long neck, flattened chest, long flat strip arms, lt arm of adjoining dancer overlaps rt arm, upper body tilted backward slightly, flattened cylindrical body flaring into two pinched splayed feet as attaches to base. Whole body leaning to lt with slight indentation running vertically down back. Flat circular base with pared and smoothed edge. Similar to KT2-11 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 8 pl. 4) and KT2-7, 8, 9, 10 (Corinth XV.2 Class II p. 43 no. 4-7 pl. 4).
Decoration:   Red paint on polos and neck.

Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with few fine sparkling and few medium tabular angular white inclusions and few medium plathy angular voids
Munsell Color:   Clay: 7.5YR 6/6 (reddish yellow), Slip: 7.5YR 8/4 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Single piece preserving one dancer from head to bottom, part of rt arm and edge of base. Broken at rt foot. Traces of white slip and paint.
