Description:   Terracotta hollow backed mouldmade seated female wearing a peplos with scalloped edged overfold straight across knees and sloping down on sides of knees, straight parallel incised lines for folds run downward from waist across sloping lap stopping at fold, peplos continues straight down across well defined lower legs, long vertical pleats fall between legs to ankles as hem flows across ankles, feet rest flat on ground. Sits on squared throne, flat sides projecting past body. Rough sides. Similar to KT8-5 and KT8-6 (Corinth XV.2 Class XVII p. 120-121 no. 3 and 4 pl. 25) but smaller.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with few fine sparkling, few medium to large spherical angular white, and rare medium tabular angular orange inclusions and few medium tabular angular voids
Munsell Color:   Clay: 7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Single piece broken diagonally from lt waist to rt knee and straight down preserving lap, lower legs and lt side of lower throne.
