Description:   Terracotta handmade perching dove with short big beak, eye ridge, long neck, short pointed legs, long oval body, slightly hollow underneath, horizontal ridge at end of body narrowing for a flaring flat round tail. Similar to KT41-43 (Corinth XV.2 Class XXVII Late Group p. 186 no.14 pl. 42) and tail similar to KT41-13.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with few fine sparkling, rare fine platy angular black, and rare fine tabular angular orange inclusions and rare fine to small tabular angular voids
Munsell Color:   Clay: 7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Single piece with small chip on lt foot. Traces of white slip.
