Description: | Terracotta solid mouldmade standing female with narrow sloping shoulders, rt arm held tight to side, bent at elbow with forearm held across breast holding a bird (small head, long thin neck, round chest, long conical body), lt arm held tight to side bent at elbow with forearm across belly, and lt hand bent up holding round fruit. Wears peplos with low overfold with straight edge across thighs then drooping down to sides, long vertical folds fall from waist to overfold, three drooping sleeve folds fall from rt elbow to middle of forearm looping to lower overfold, long sleeve droops from lt elbow to lower overfold in two loops with long vertical folds radiating fom elbow down, long vertical folds fall straight from below overfold. Frontal mould with large depression on back. Similar to KT4-106 (Corinth XV.2 Class X p. 93 no. 28 pl. 15). Standing Kore with Dove and Fruit Type. | |
