Description:   Strigil with flat strap handle bending down in back and ending in pointed leaf with convex outer face; blade V-shaped in section, tapering somewhat from handle base toward tip.
Writing:   stamp. Small rectangular stamp on back of handle, Greek: SKUQAS SKYTHAS with upright ivy leaf at start, upside down leaf at tip. Sigmas = 3-barred, ypsilon a V, theta = cartwheel type.
Material:   Bronze
Condition:   Missing parts. Originally complete except for tip; now broken into four frgts., three of which join to give complete handle and upper half of strigil proper.
