Description:   Terracotta mouldmade hollow female figurine wearing sleeved chiton with a button at shoulder, oval openings along arm and horizontal creases in cloth incised. Two downward flowing long twisted locks of hair bracket shoulder. Smooth plain back. Walls are very thick allowing little space in center. Similar to Standing Priestess type MF-13814 (Corinth XVIII.4, p. 249, 250-255, 261 no. H411 pl. 57).
Decoration:   White slip in folds of drapery and hair. Red paint in crease between hair and drapery.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with a light brownish gray core with few medium to large tabular rounded mudstone, few fine tabular rounded white and fine sparkling inclusions and few large tabular rounded voids
Munsell Color:   Surface: 7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow), Core: 10YR 6/2 (light brownish gray), Paint: 10R 5/8 (red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single piece preserving part of upper left arm and back. Traces of white slip and red paint.
