Description:   Handmade terracotta figurine of bearded male figure (perhaps satyr), nude. Head turned toward proper left. Top of head very short, with ridged or beetling brows, eyes of applied clay disks, long, pointy nose, rounded cheeks. Mustache and pointy, projecting beard made of applied clay. Body nude. Large penis extends upward along abodomen. Left hand rests on buttocks or tail. Tail projects outward, perhaps to create tripod with legs for stability. Black paint may be applied to beard and may be used to indicate nipples, musculature on torso, pubic hair. Figurine solid.
Decoration:   Black paint (?) on beard, abdomen, pubic hair.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with frequent very small rounded spherical voids and few small rounded spherical inclusions.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving head, torso, part of each arm, most of penis, stub of tail. Faint traces of black paint (?) on beard, chest.
