Description:   Part of a bronze pin consisting of a thick shaft, circular in section at the lower part, square in section at the upper part and between the knobs. Three of an original five biconical knobs preserved, two small (Max. Diam. 0.012), then one large (Max. Diam. 0.106) which would have been the middle knob. Shaft notched slightly on either side of knobs.
Decoration:   Faint traces of incised or impressed hatched patterns forming zig-zags on all sections of shaft. See Kilian-Dirlmeier, Nadeln der fruhell., pl. 39, #1072 for illustration.
Material:   Bronze
Condition:   Missing parts. Single fragment preserves three of an original five knobs and four sections of shaft; broken at top and bottom. Surface corroded.
