Decoration: | Circular center-post frame-style buckle concave in profile. Tongue wraps around center post and rests on one side. Post and tongue are surrounded by a raised circular border decorated with engraved animal and floral motifs. Outermost border is decorated with alternating shoe horse and flat circle motifs. Two parallel hatched lines define the start of the raised portion of the buckle. The interior border is decorated with floral motifs and two eagles on either side of the center post. Their heads face inwards. Two double-headed eagles are above and below the center post. | |
