Title:   TERRACOTTA PLAQUE: HORSE RIDER

Description:   Plaque with horse prancing to rt. with both forefeet off of the ground. Rider wears a cloak which covers his rt. arm and holds the reins in his left. Possibly wears leggings. Hair forms a roll across forehead, possibly cap over this. Back flat. White slip. Brownish red on rider's flesh, horse pink with red trappings, background black.
Material:   Fine reddish-brown clay
Condition:   Complete or intact. Complete except for horse's head, back legs.
