Description:   This fragmentary bone stylus preserves a flat, nearly square blade which tapers near the use edge but thickens nearer the beginning of the shaft. The shaft is missing but is square in section at the point of breakage.
Decoration:   The edge which narrows into the shaft is incised on both flat sides onto an open volute design.

Condition:   Fragment. Fragment of bone stylus preserving flat blade with many chips off one edge. Missing is the shaft.
