Description:   Terracotta figurine of a female figure, draped, seated, right hand in lap. Wears a short-sleeved chiton and incised bracelet on wrist. Deep diagonal folds fall from lap. Holds plektron in right hand. Similar to BM Inv. 1905 6-92, Matrona with kithara (Muse) and Agora VI, p. 46, no. 79, T 720, pl. 4.

Condition:   Fragment. Single fragment preserves right arm, knee, drapery and edge of seat. Slip and paint worn off. Traces of fingerprints on interior.
