Description:   Flat octagonal plaque with alternating triangular and semi-circular scallops. Each scallop is pierced with a hole for attachment to door. Off-center right, in lower half, keyhole (H. 0.024) and off-center left, higher in plaque, rectangular cut for latch (?) (H. 0.024).
Material:   Iron
Condition:   Missing parts. Single fragment complete except for 1/8 of scalloped edge. More corrosion on back than front, but overall condition is good.
Dimensions Actual:   H. 0.123, W. 0.127, Th. 0.001-0.006 at center

Findspot Description:   271.15 E 1029.18 N 84.27 el. Found together with iron adze, MF 2008 6, while iron ladle, MF 2008 3, was higher up in same pit.
