Description: | Adze with horizontal downward curving outwardly flaring blade with semicircular cutting edge. Stubbed head at other end, possibly for use as hammer as well as counterweight for blade. Central cylinder thickens toward blade and blunt end and widens into downward peaks on outside edges. Blunt end may be formed in two parts. Th. of blade tapers from 0.024 at core to 0.007 at tip, w. of blunt end 0.037, diam. of hole for shaft 0.03. | |
